JURY

Max Andrews of Latitudes is joining the jury for the Fundación Botín Art Grants 2026–27. Together with curator Ángel Calvo Ulloa and artists Eli Cortiñas and Anna Moreno—both grantees of the Botín Foundation Art Grant in 2018—he will take part in the selection process for the six projects that will each receive €23,000 in support of their development.

MENTORSHIP

Mariana Cánepa Luna of Latitudes, has been invited to take part in the 2026 edition of the Visual Arts Mentoring Programme, organised by the National Institute of Visual Arts (INAV) under the National Directorate of Culture of Uruguay’s Ministry of Education and Culture. As part of the Curator-x-Artist module, between September and October 2026, Mariana will mentor four artists and hold four individual virtual meetings with each of them.

ACQUISITION COMMISSION

Between 2024 and 2026, Mariana Cánepa Luna has served on the Commission for the Patrimonialisation and Acquisition of Contemporary Art for the Generalitat de Catalunya's National Collection, following her appointment as an independent expert by the Plataforma d’Arts Visuals. In this role, she has contributed her expertise in contemporary art to evaluate and select works from proposals submitted through the Commission’s annual open call.
