Latitudes was invited by
Frankfurter Kunstverein director Chus Martínez to be in residence as part of the Deutsche Börse Residency Program during August 2008. During this period Latitudes developed research for our 2008–9 projects and made connections with local institutions and realised a number of studio visits with artists currently enrolled in the
Städelschule Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste.
Latitudes shared the residency facilities with Galician artist Cova Macías, the Athens-based
Xenia Kalpaktsoglou (co-director Athens Biennial and co-curator 1st Athens Biennial 2007) and Christopher Marinos (critic and curator).
